If you are interested in hiring a nanny/caregiver from Worldwide Nannies, please fill out the forms listed below:
Once the family has contacted WORLDWIDE NANNIES and received the information requested, an evaluation meeting will be scheduled either by phone, email or if possible, in person. At the meeting, WORLDWIDE NANNIES will draw up an evaluation including a job description, hours of work, salary, and other relevant information. A copy of this evaluation will be left with the family.
Most important, WORLDWIDE NANNIES will supply the family with copies of nanny/caregiver files suited to the placement. The nanny/caregiver files will contain a very clear picture of the nanny/caregiver such as:
- photo(s)
- copies of work references
- copies of educational certificates and/or training
- personal information
- background
- personal letter to a "potential" employer
- questionnaires citing examples of situations and asking for solutions or methods used
- experience outline on care giving as well as home making
- police screening
- medical screening
- personal skills (i.e.: ability to swim, musician, valid driver's license, etc)
- and much more.
These files will contain the information that a family needs to know to feel comfortable in leaving the most important people in the world with the caregiver ...their own family.
THE LIVE IN NANNY
The live in nanny/caregiver is sometimes from another country and comes to Canada on a work permit. The processing time is approximately 4 - 5 months for the nanny/caregiver to arrive. WORLDWIDE NANNIES will guide you through the intricacies of the process required to secure an overseas nanny/caregiver. In addition, WORLDWIDE NANNIES will put you in contact with the nanny/caregiver to either personally interview or speak with her/him. During the permit process, WORLDWIDE NANNIES will keep in close contact with the nanny/caregiver to assist her/him in the process securing the work permit.
THE LIVE OUT NANNY
The live out nanny/caregiver will have already secured a work permit or is a Canadian citizen. She/he will likely already be in your city and will personally interview with you after the evaluation meeting with WORLDWIDE NANNIES. WORLDWIDE NANNIES will contact the nanny/caregiver to outline your information to make certain she/he is available and interested. WORLDWIDE NANNIES will follow up with both the nanny/caregiver and the family to ensure the hiring of the nanny/caregiver goes smoothly and is completed.
